About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for the Acute Care Rehab team at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. This PRN role provides day-shift coverage, includes participation in a weekend and holiday coverage rotation, and expects at least three shifts per month. The therapist evaluates and treats pediatric patients with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and medical diagnoses, provides extensive patient and family education, and works with a multidisciplinary care team. The role also includes providing in-services to interdisciplinary team members and hospital staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist through the Florida Department of Health.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
