About The Position

TEIS Early Intervention is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide home-based services to children ages 0–3 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on supporting children’s development and coaching their families. The therapist’s client territory is assigned near their residence to help keep travel time and distance compatible with their desired schedule. The therapist develops, implements, and documents treatment plans based on each child’s individual needs, TEIS procedures, and parents’ requirements. Therapy is incorporated into children’s everyday routines, and the position includes local travel for in-home Early Intervention services. The role offers flexible scheduling and may be full- or part-time. TEIS describes itself as employee-owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Requirements

• National NBCOT certification, renewed every three years.
• Pennsylvania state Occupational Therapy license, renewed by June 30 of every odd-numbered year.
• Child Abuse clearance (Act 33).
• Criminal History clearance (Act 34).
• FBI fingerprinting clearance.
• Mandated Reporter Training (Act 31).
• Current Pennsylvania driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document treatment plans based on patients’ individual needs, TEIS procedures, and parents’ requirements.
• Incorporate family-friendly therapy into children’s everyday routines.
• Travel locally to provide in-home Early Intervention services.
