About The Position

TEIS Early Intervention is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide home-based services to children ages 0–3 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. The therapist develops and implements individualized treatment plans, documents care, incorporates family-friendly therapy into children’s everyday routines, and coaches families. Local travel is required for in-home services. Client territories are assigned near the therapist’s residence to help support the desired work schedule. The role may be full-time or part-time, with flexible scheduling and the ability to adapt a schedule to personal needs. Requirements

National NBCOT certification, renewed every three years.
Pennsylvania state Occupational Therapy license, renewed by June 30 of every odd-numbered year.
Child Abuse clearance (Act 33).
Criminal History clearance (Act 34).
FBI fingerprinting clearance.
Mandated Reporter Training (Act 31).
Current Pennsylvania driver’s license.
Current automobile insurance and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and document treatment plans based on each patient’s individual needs, TEIS procedures, and parents’ requirements.
Incorporate family-friendly therapy into children’s everyday routines.
Provide in-home Early Intervention services and travel locally to clients.
Coach and support families as they work toward their children’s developmental goals.
