About The Position

Wolfson Children’s Hospital Rehab Services is hiring a full-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist for its Outpatient Rehab Team at the Drew Bradbury Center outpatient rehabilitation clinic. The therapist will work with patients under age 18 with a varied caseload, evaluating and treating patients with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and medical diagnoses. The role requires previous experience working with children and previous neuro, orthopedic, and outpatient patient experience. Pediatric occupational therapy experience in an outpatient setting is strongly preferred.

The therapist provides extensive patient and family education and works with a multidisciplinary team. Required credentials include a bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy, a Florida Department of Health Occupational Therapist license, and American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is offered. Positions designated as requiring Level II background screening are subject to detailed fingerprint-based state and national criminal history screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children.
• Previous neuro, orthopedic, and outpatient patient experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Occupational Therapist license from the Florida Department of Health.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience in an outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
