About The Position
Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) is seeking a Fellowship-trained Pediatric Neuroradiologist to join their Pediatric Radiology team. This role involves providing coverage across the CHCO system, including the main Anschutz Campus, the Colorado Springs hospital, and satellite locations. The position focuses exclusively on pediatric neuroimaging studies, with options for remote and in-person shifts at the Anschutz campus. Responsibilities include overseeing and interpreting pediatric CT and MRI neuroimaging, Fetal MR neuroimaging, and neuro-related Nuclear Medicine studies. Participation in educational and multidisciplinary clinical conferences is also required, often facilitated through virtual platforms. The affiliation with the University of Colorado School of Medicine offers opportunities for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with both academic and clinical tracks available.
Requirements
- Licensed MD or DO from accredited institution in the U.S., or equivalent, if a non-U.S. graduate
- Colorado medical license (can be a Distinguished Foreign Teaching Physician License) by the time of hire
- ABR certification/eligibility or board certification outside the United States
- At least one year of pediatric neuroradiology fellowship training and 5 years of pediatric neuroradiology clinical experience, OR one of these 2-year fellowship training pathways: Pediatric radiology, Neuroradiology; Pediatric radiology, Pediatric neuroradiology; Neuroradiology, Pediatric neuroradiology
- Interpretation of radiology imaging studies and procedures
- Competency in basic radiology procedures

Responsibilities
- Oversight and interpretation of pediatric CT and MRI neuroimaging
- Oversight and interpretation of Fetal MR neuroimaging
- Oversight and interpretation of neuro-related Nuclear Medicine studies
- Participation in weekly educational and multidisciplinary clinical conferences
- Engage in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Interpret neuro CT, MRI and PET studies
- Work closely with clinical partners including neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, fetal care, child protection team, ENT, ID, and genetics/metabolics
- Active participation in fellow, resident and medical student education
- Participation in research is encouraged
