About The Position
Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) is seeking a Fellowship-trained Pediatric Neuroradiologist to join their Pediatric Radiology team. This role involves providing coverage across the CHCO system, including the main Anschutz Campus, the Colorado Springs hospital, and satellite locations. The position focuses exclusively on pediatric neuroimaging studies, with options for local remote and in-person shifts at the main Anschutz campus. Responsibilities include overseeing and interpreting pediatric CT and MRI neuroimaging, Fetal MR neuroimaging, and neuro-related Nuclear Medicine studies. Participation in educational and multidisciplinary clinical conferences is also a key component, often facilitated through virtual platforms. The position offers opportunities to engage in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows, affiliated with the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Both Academic and Clinical tracks are available.
Requirements
- Fellowship-trained Pediatric Neuroradiologist
- Licensed MD or DO from accredited institution in the U.S., or equivalent
- Colorado medical license (can be a Distinguished Foreign Teaching Physician License) by the time of hire
- ABR certification/eligibility or board certification outside the United States
- At least one year of pediatric neuroradiology fellowship training and 5 years of pediatric neuroradiology clinical experience, OR one of these 2-year fellowship training pathways: Pediatric radiology, Neuroradiology; Pediatric radiology, Pediatric neuroradiology; Neuroradiology, Pediatric neuroradiology
- Interpretation of radiology imaging studies and procedures
- Competency in basic radiology procedures
Responsibilities
- Oversight and interpretation of pediatric CT and MRI neuroimaging
- Interpretation of Fetal MR neuroimaging
- Interpretation of neuro-related Nuclear Medicine studies
- Participation in numerous weekly educational and multidisciplinary clinical conferences
- Interpreting neuro CT, MRI and PET
- Active participation in fellow, resident and medical student education
- Participation in research is encouraged
