About The Position
Are you passionate about pediatric nursing and looking for a meaningful opportunity to support a child overnight? Join Affirmed Home Care, where you’ll provide compassionate, one-on-one care that helps a young patient remain safe and comfortable in her home. We are currently seeking a dedicated Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an immediate overnight pediatric case in Wanaque, NJ. If you are confident with respiratory equipment and enjoy providing supportive, attentive care, we’d love to welcome you to our team. Patient Information: Patient: 14-year-old girl. Needs: Overnight support and supervision. Equipment: Trilogy BiPAP. Care Requirements: Respiratory support, personal care, positioning, medication administration.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey LPN license
- Current BLS certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Physical completed within the past 12 months
- Current PPD or QuantiFERON within the past 12 months (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
- Proof of MMR immunization within the past 10 years
- Proof of influenza vaccination or approved medical exemption
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of pediatric or respiratory experience
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Skilled nursing care provided one-on-one in the home
- Monitor the patient’s comfort, safety, and respiratory status throughout the night
- Manage and troubleshoot Trilogy BiPAP and related respiratory equipment
- Provide personal care, hygiene support, and repositioning as needed
- Administer medications according to the physician’s plan of care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the family and interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional care
