We are currently seeking a dedicated Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an immediate pediatric case in Netcong, NJ. If you enjoy building meaningful relationships with families and providing exceptional clinical care, we'd love to have you on our team. This role involves providing one-on-one skilled nursing care in the client's home, monitoring the patient's health, comfort, and safety, administering medications and treatments, managing complex medical equipment and procedures, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. You will also partner with the family and interdisciplinary team to provide outstanding patient care.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey LPN license
- Current BLS certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Physical completed within the past 12 months
- Current PPD or QuantiFERON within the past 12 months (or chest X-ray completed within the past 5 years)
- Proof of MMR immunization within the past 10 years
- Proof of influenza vaccination or an approved medical exemption
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of pediatric experience in home care or acute care
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the client's home
- Monitor the patient's health, comfort, and safety throughout each shift
- Administer medications and treatments according to the physician's plan of care
- Manage tracheostomy/ventilator care, GJ tube feedings, nebulizer treatments, chest vest therapy, cough assist, and suctioning
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Partner with the family and interdisciplinary team to provide outstanding patient care
