About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is actively hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support multiple pediatric clients in the Norwood, NJ area. This role involves providing 1:1 care to children who need it, offering focused, meaningful care with steady hours and a supportive team. The position offers immediate openings for day, evening, and overnight shifts, with flexible scheduling across several cases, allowing for a schedule that fits the employee's life while delivering care that truly matters.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey LPN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Physical exam within 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
- Proof of MMR within 10 years
- Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience preferred (home care or facility)
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, developmentally appropriate 1:1 nursing for individualized pediatric care.
- Observe, record, and communicate changes in condition through clinical monitoring and documentation.
- Partner with families to promote comfort and stability through family-centered support.
- Maintain infection control and proper equipment use for home safety.
