Pediatric LPN
About The Position
Provide meaningful, 1:1 care every weekend for a 14‑year‑old female with cerebral palsy in Teaneck, NJ. She is non‑ambulatory, non‑verbal, receives oral feeds, and requires respiratory therapies including nebulizer treatments, cough assist, and chest vest therapy. This is a rewarding, stable case ideal for an LPN who values compassion, consistency, and family‑centered care. This is an ongoing weekend schedule — Saturday & Sunday, 8am–8pm. It is one client, one home, one supportive family in a calm, structured environment where your clinical skills shine. This is a deeply meaningful role supporting a teen who thrives with attentive, gentle care.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey LPN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Physical exam within 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X‑ray within 5 years)
- Proof of MMR within 10 years
- Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience preferred (home care or facility)
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, developmentally appropriate 1:1 nursing.
- Administer respiratory support including nebulizer, cough assist, and chest vest therapy.
- Observe, document, and communicate changes in condition.
- Promote comfort, stability, and daily routines.
- Maintain infection control and proper equipment use.
