About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is expanding its Pediatric Division and seeking compassionate, experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide skilled, one-on-one nursing care to a 1-year-old pediatric girl with a tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube in the comfort of her home in Fairfield County, Connecticut. This is a rewarding opportunity for an LPN who is confident providing pediatric complex-care support and wants to make a meaningful difference in the life of a child and her family.
Requirements
- Active Connecticut LPN license
- Current BLS certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
- Current TB screening, including PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past year, or chest X-ray documentation when applicable
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one year of pediatric nursing experience
- Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube care
- Home care, hospital, or acute-care pediatric experience
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, one-on-one nursing care to a pediatric patient with a tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube in their home.
- Offer complex-care support to pediatric patients.
- Ensure the child remains safe, comfortable, and supported in her home environment.
