About The Position

Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida is seeking a Pediatric Interventional Radiologist to work at our free-standing children’s hospital in Orlando. The hospital has dedicated single and bi-plane rooms with support from a dedicated Anesthesia team, 4 Interventional Radiology techs and 2 APPs. The division is undergoing an expansion that will double its square footage, accommodating two magnets. Nemours Radiology is a large pediatric radiology group in the US, with 46 radiologists (growing to over 50 in 2026) providing services in Delaware, Florida, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. They perform approximately 500,000 imaging examinations annually across the system, utilizing a single PACS, shared worklists, multi-site conferences, and shared after-hours responsibilities with a dedicated team of 3 nighthawk radiologists. Collaborative research opportunities are available, supported by leadership, PhDs, and a radiology research fellowship. Educational activities include Pediatric Radiology and Pediatric Neuroradiology fellowships at campuses in Orlando, FL, and Wilmington, DE, with residents from multiple programs rotating through the department. Pediatric Radiology fellows are expected to rotate with the nighthawk team. Academic appointment at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine will be recommended based on qualifications and experience.
