Vascular & Interventional Radiologist
About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Vascular & Interventional Radiologist in Bismarck, North Dakota. The role involves inpatient clinical work and on-call coverage. The coverage period is from August 12, 2026, ongoing, with an orientation on August 12th and coverage from August 13-18. The average daily volume is 10-15 procedures, including a mix of general interventional radiology procedures such as vascular interventions, body interventions, biopsies, and drainages. The facility uses the Epic EMR system. Hospital privileges are required, and temporary privileges are not available. The credentialing timeline is 60-90 days.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Vascular & Interventional Radiology (Required)
- IR residency or fellowship required
- Must have experience with all required procedures
- ACLS, BLS certifications
- Active North Dakota license highly preferred; Universal License (IMLC) required if ND license is not active
- Clean malpractice history highly preferred
- Availability at time of name clear required
- NPDB self-query report dated within 30 days of presentation required

Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions, biopsies, drainages, and access device placements.
- Provide on-call coverage for evening and weekend emergencies.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to determine appropriate interventional procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic EMR system.
- Participate in quality assurance and safety protocols as required.
