About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for an Interventional Radiologist in Las Cruces, NM. The role is inpatient and requires call-only coverage, including 24-hour shifts and weekends. The facility has 168 beds and is a Level III Trauma center. Support staff includes 4 RNs. Temporary privileges are available. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- Active NM License
- BC/BE
- BLS
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour call coverage, including weekends.
- Respond to calls within 30 minutes.
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures including U/S and CT Guided Biopsies, Arthrograms/Joints, Abdominal Aortagram, Pulm Emboli Extraction, Periphial Angiplasty, TIPS, Tunneled PICC, IVC Filters, Kyphoplasty, Mammo, Needle Localizations, Sterotactice Biopsies, and Dialysis Fistula.
- Handle phone consults (3-5 per day).
- Manage patient volume of 15-18 patients.
