About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 6 physicians and 5 APPs. Practice setting: inpatient. 3 months of orientation, skill lab and OR time included. Employed position within a nonprofit health system. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care. Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration. Deliver high-acuity care by managing and rounding on complex patients within the PICU and CVICU, serving as a vital clinical partner to the Intensivist team. Perform life-saving interventions and advanced procedures—including intubations, line placements, and chest tube management—to stabilize and support our most vulnerable pediatric patients. Optimize patient outcomes through the expert management of mechanical ventilation, pharmacological therapies, and conscious sedation protocols. Collaborate across disciplines to execute comprehensive care plans, ensuring every child receives a seamless and compassionate transition from critical illness to recovery. Master advanced clinical skills through a dedicated three-month structured orientation, featuring immersive skills labs and OR-based procedural training designed to elevate your practice.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities
