About The Position
Keystone Dental Care is seeking a Pediatric Dental Hygienist to provide preventive dental care for new and existing patients. The hygienist assesses patients’ dental conditions and needs, performs dental prophylaxis and other preventive procedures, educates patients about oral health, and accurately documents care in patient records.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
- Current CPR certification.
- Radiographic skills.
Nice To Haves
- Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner qualification is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ dental condition and needs, including screening the head, neck, and oral cavity for disease.
- Provide dental prophylaxis, topical fluoride applications, sealants, and radiographs.
- Provide patient education, including oral health instruction and plaque control.
- Provide routine preventive treatment for new and existing patients.
- Accurately document and maintain patient records.
