About The Position

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is hiring registered nurses and practical nurses to provide direct, one-on-one medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in their homes in Belen, New Mexico, and surrounding areas. Nurses follow the active plan of care provided by the physician and other appropriate personnel, and work to make a positive difference in the lives of patients and their families. New graduates are welcome, and training is provided. The role is offered in full-time and part-time shifts, with days, nights, and weekends available. Shift lengths of 8, 10, 12, or 16 hours are available. The organization describes its mission as providing children and young adults with high-quality home health care in a loving, caring, and professional manner.

Requirements

Active RN license; new graduates are welcome and training is provided.
Ability to provide care in a client home setting.
Ability to make a positive and lasting impression.

Responsibilities

Provide care in a client’s home according to the active plan of care.
Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents.
Conduct ongoing patient care and assessments.
Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
Coordinate care.
Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes.
Use preventative initiatives to protect the quality of care for patients.
