Weekends - RN / LVN Pediatric Home Health Nurse- Eastern San Antonio
About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to provide direct, one-on-one medical care to medically fragile infants, children, and adolescents in their homes. This role is crucial in making a positive difference in the lives of patients and their families. The position involves focusing on the medical needs and treatment of young patients according to their active plan of care, conducting ongoing assessments, administering prescribed medications and treatments, coordinating care, and educating family members to enhance positive outcomes and protect the quality of care through preventative initiatives.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license (New Grads Welcome, training provided!)
- Provide care in a client home setting
- Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!
Responsibilities
- Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
- Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
- Coordination of care
- Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
- Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient
