RN/LVN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Children's Home Healthcare provides pediatric home healthcare for medically complex children. The company is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide compassionate care to pediatric patients, with cases ranging from low acuity to high acuity. New graduates and nurses with little to no experience may ask about the extern program and its training opportunities. Nurses assist with patient treatment and rehabilitation by performing nursing procedures for which their training provides the necessary skills and judgment. They participate in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in collaboration with the clinical supervisor. The role also includes health counseling, emotional support, parent education, and coordination of care with other agencies and physician offices involved in the patient's care.
Requirements
- Valid, current nursing license as an RN or LVN.
- Valid, current CPR card for healthcare workers.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and fill in when needed.
- Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
- Able to operate an automobile and hold a current driver's license and current auto insurance.
- Completely mobile and able to lift and transfer a patient.
- Able to lift an average of up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Perform nursing procedures to assist with patient treatment and rehabilitation.

- Lift and transfer patients between locations.
