About The Position

Axcess is hiring Home Care LPNs to provide compassionate nursing care to children with special needs and disabilities in South Carolina. The role supports children and their parents or guardians in the home and may involve assistance with medication administration, catheter care, tracheostomy care, wound care, ventilator care, activities of daily living, and accompanying parents to appointments and therapies. The LPN may also assist with light housekeeping and laundry.

The position is located in Greenville. The listed schedule is Monday and Friday, with flexible times. Axcess provides telephone assistance from 8 a.m. until midnight, seven days a week. Education is generally completed through a mobile app, with in-person appointments once a year for education and annual requirements.

Requirements

• Hold an active LPN license to practice in South Carolina.
• Have one year of clinical experience.
• Have current CPR certification.
• Complete annual TB testing; Axcess covers the cost if testing is due.
• Pass a SLED background check.
• Pass a drug test.
• Be physically able to provide care to a child with special needs.
• Have a valid driver’s license and insured transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to children with special needs and disabilities.
• Administer medications as needed.
• Provide catheter, tracheostomy, wound, and ventilator care as needed.
• Assist children with activities of daily living.
• Accompany parents to appointments and therapies as needed.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
