Academic Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist – Worcester, MA
About The Position
UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join their growing team. This role is part of a collaborative Pediatric Hematology-Oncology team within a comprehensive children’s program, providing care for patients with benign hematologic disorders and pediatric cancers. The position offers opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and specialty clinics, with access to state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment services. Support is provided by advanced practice providers, specialized nurses, and care coordinators, with a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consult services.
Requirements
- Must hold a MD or DO degree
- Qualify for a Massachusetts license
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with benign hematologic disorders and pediatric cancers
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and specialty clinics
- Provide outpatient clinic and inpatient consult services
