About The Position

The Division of Hematology/Oncology at UMass Memorial Medical Center and UMass Chan Medical School is actively seeking an experienced Genitourinary (GU) Oncologist to join their expanding and collaborative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized care for patients with genitourinary malignancies, including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers. The position involves participating in multidisciplinary care, clinical research, and academic teaching within a leading academic medical center. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine academic practice with high-quality, community-based cancer care across a network of well-established practices. The Division of Hematology/Oncology is a vibrant and growing division, which includes 28 Board-Certified Physicians and 33 Advanced Practice Providers. It features an integrated, multidisciplinary Cancer Center of Excellence focused on clinical care and innovation, access to state-of-the-art clinical and research facilities, and affiliation with the UMass Chan Medical School, a nationally ranked academic institution. This role offers a dynamic mix of clinical care, teaching, research, and leadership opportunities with a clinical focus on Genitourinary Oncology.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology Oncology
• MD or DO degree
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts
• Clinical expertise in Genitourinary (GU) oncology
• Strong commitment to patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and academic engagement

Nice To Haves

• Interest in clinical investigation, clinical trials, academic teaching, and multidisciplinary care of patients with genitourinary malignancies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with genitourinary malignancies, including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care.
• Engage in clinical research.
• Participate in academic teaching.
• Deliver care at the University Campus in Worcester, with opportunities to practice at regional cancer centers in Leominster and Marlborough.
• Work alongside expert teams in hematology/oncology, pathology, radiology, and surgical subspecialties.
• Participate in fellowship education, student and resident teaching, and conferences.
• Contribute to clinical investigation and quality improvement within your area of interest.
