Academic Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist – Worcester, MA
About The Position
UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join their growing team. This role is part of a collaborative Pediatric Hematology-Oncology team within a comprehensive children’s program. The position involves providing care for patients with benign hematologic disorders and pediatric cancers, participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards and specialty clinics, and utilizing state-of-the-art oncology and hematology diagnostic and treatment services. The role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consult services, with dedicated support from advanced practice providers, specialized nurses, and care coordinators.
Requirements
- Must hold a MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with benign hematologic disorders and pediatric cancers
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and specialty clinics
- Provide outpatient clinic and inpatient consult services
