About The Position
UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join their growing team. This role is part of a collaborative Pediatric Hematology-Oncology team within a comprehensive children’s program. The position involves providing care for patients with benign hematologic disorders and pediatric cancers, with opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and specialty clinics. The role offers access to state-of-the-art oncology and hematology diagnostic and treatment services, with dedicated support from advanced practice providers, specialized nurses, and care coordinators. The position involves a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consult services.
Requirements
- Must hold a MD or DO degree
- Qualify for a Massachusetts license
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with benign hematologic disorders and pediatric cancers
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and specialty clinics
- Provide outpatient clinic and inpatient consult services
