About The Position

Inova Children’s is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join their team in Fairfax, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nationally recognized children’s health system and contribute to the continued expansion of comprehensive pediatric specialty care throughout Northern Virginia. This full-time position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Your role includes: Participate in multidisciplinary pediatric hematology and oncology care. Participate in the inpatient care team (Hematology Consult Service and Inpatient Attending). Engage in pediatric hematology and oncology for clinical research projects and studies, including translational efforts. Our team includes 9 experienced Pediatric Hematology-Oncology physicians and 9 advanced practice providers who diagnose, manage, and treat all forms of childhood cancers, blood disorders, and bone marrow failure syndromes. Requirements

For Nurse Practitioners: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Master's Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or graduate of a post- masters certificate program for nurse practitioners, American Association of Colleges of Nursing of the National League for Nursing; For Physician Assistants: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
If Nurse Practitioner: RN Compact License (depending on State of primary residence) AND a license (or eligibility for) as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia AND a "Practice Agreement" signed by sponsoring/ supervising physician(s), AND a written "Scope of Practice/Protocol" signed by the supervising physician, AND "Drug Enforcement Administration License" (if prescribing controlled substances).
Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start
Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors
Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
