About The Position

Saint Peter's is seeking a talented, compassionate Pediatric Float Pool Registered Nurse to join its Women-Children Float Pool. The hospital has earned its seventh consecutive Magnet designation and its first Magnet with Distinction designation, recognizing exceptional nursing practices and patient outcomes. The RN contributes to a collaborative nursing team and provides patient care in accordance with nursing standards and established policies. The salary range is $47.00–$62.00 per hour. Base rates are determined by factors including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. Some positions may also be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials. The listed range for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and is prorated based on employment status.

Requirements

BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association.
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) Part I certification, as defined by the primary specialty unit assigned.
Obtain NRP Part II certification during clinical orientation, as defined by the primary specialty unit assigned.
Obtain ACLS certification during clinical orientation, as defined by the primary specialty unit assigned.
Obtain PALS certification during clinical orientation, as defined by the primary specialty unit assigned.
Complete an ECG course during clinical orientation, as defined by the primary specialty unit assigned.

Responsibilities

Contribute positively to the collaborative nursing team.
Use assessment skills to determine assigned patients’ health status in accordance with Nursing Standards.
Ensure procedures are performed according to established Standards of Care.
Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
Document all aspects of patient care.
