Pediatric Endocrinologist
About The Position
Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida is seeking an experienced Pediatric Endocrinologist to join their team at their partner hospital, Lakeland Regional Health, in Lakeland, Florida. The division is comprised of 5 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners, supported by endocrine nurses, certified diabetes educators, registered dietitians, and social workers. Nemours offers robust research opportunities and excellent teaching opportunities through partnerships with The University of Central Florida College of Medicine and its own Pediatric residency and Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship programs. Other Nemours services available onsite at Lakeland Regional include outpatient Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Nephrology, Urology, Rheumatology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine. Inpatient services include Cardiology and MFM Consults, PICU and General Surgery Medical Directorship services, and Neurology.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible in area of specialty
- Valid state medical license
