Pediatric Endocrinologist
About The Position
Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida is seeking a Pediatric Endocrinologist to join their team at their partner hospital, Lakeland Regional Health, in Lakeland, Florida. The role involves assisting in patient care within a division supported by a comprehensive team of endocrine nurses, certified diabetes educators, registered dietitians, and social workers. The position offers robust research opportunities and excellent teaching opportunities through partnerships with Nemours, the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, and the Pediatric residency and Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship programs at Nemours. Other Nemours services available onsite at Lakeland Regional include outpatient Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Nephrology, Urology, Rheumatology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine. Inpatient services include Cardiology and MFM Consults, PICU and General Surgery Medical Directorship services, and Neurology.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible in area of specialty
- Valid state medical license
