About The Position

NRMC is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to provide comprehensive endocrine care in a rural community setting. This role offers the opportunity to build a strong outpatient practice with meaningful impact in chronic disease management. The practice focuses on the diagnosis and management of endocrine disorders, including diabetes care (Type 1, Type 2, and complex cases), and thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and metabolic conditions. It is an outpatient-focused practice with referral support, offering the opportunity to develop a high-demand specialty service line within a 71-bed rural hospital serving approximately 20,000 people. There is a high community need for endocrinology services with limited nearby specialty access and a strong referral base from primary care providers. The role emphasizes long-term patient relationships and collaborative interdisciplinary care.

Requirements

• MD or DO eligible for Missouri licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
• Comfort working in a rural outpatient-focused setting

Nice To Haves

• Experience with diabetes management strongly preferred
