About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time outpatient diabetes position, supporting pediatric patients and their families at Children's Minnesota, a 400-bed Level 1 Trauma Center in Minneapolis, MN. In this role, you will also support endocrine clinics throughout the Twin Cities Metro area. This is a great opportunity to deepen your practice on a supportive cross-functional team.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian credential and licensure in MN.
Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills.
Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff.
Strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care.
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

Offer compassionate pediatric diabetes care in the outpatient setting.
Educate patients and their families in one-on-one and group environments.
Support performance improvement/quality management initiatives and participate in research, as available.
Provide training and education to department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Precept dietetic interns (as assigned).
