Pediatric Dietitian
About The Position
Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare as a Pediatric Dietitian in Torrance, CA! This position is located at Morrison Healthcare at Harbor UCLA in an acute care setting. We are seeking a dietitian to provide inpatient and outpatient support in a large teaching hospital to our pediatric population. Responsibilities include conducting nutrition assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, monitoring and adjusting interventions, and providing patient and education. Clinic coverage includes cardiology, genetics, failure to thrive, GI, heme/onc, and nephrology. CCS or CCS eligible preferred.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
- Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
- Specialty certification when required
- Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
- Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
- Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
- Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
- Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
