Job Overview The Pedodontist is responsible for providing dental care for infants, children, and adolescents by examining, diagnosing, and treating diseases, abnormalities, injuries, and dysfunctional disorders of the oral cavity and its associated structures.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited dental school.
Completed Post-Graduate training in Pediatric Dentistry.
Must hold a valid California dental license in good standing (active, unrestricted, and not under disciplinary action or unresolved complaints).
A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Nice To Haves

Board-eligible or Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry preferred.
Experience in outpatient health clinic settings and/or a community health center setting, working with underserved populations preferred.
Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.
