PEDIATRIC DENTIST
About The Position
Eastern Iowa Health Center (EIHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center, is seeking a full-time or temporary Pediatric Dentist at the Rhys B Jones Dental Clinic in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. EIHC provides accessible health care throughout the community and is dedicated to health equity and compassionate, non-judgmental care regardless of patients’ ability to pay. The position provides pediatric dental care in a collaborative environment focused on preventative and restorative services. Compensation is listed as $166,400.00–$287,040.00, with competitive compensation packages based on previous work experience, education, certification, and other relevant factors. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and Friday, 8 AM to 12 PM.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an American Dental Association-accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Pediatric Dentistry.
- Current license or eligibility for licensure in the State of Iowa.
- Current DEA and CSA.
- Basic Life Support.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine preventative examinations and screenings.
- Perform routine extractions and fillings.
- Provide emergency services.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide other preventative and restorative dental services.
- Enter patient information and complete required clinical documentation in the Dentrix EDR system.
