About The Position

Aizer Health is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center dedicated to providing transformative, compassionate, and innovative healthcare. We offer a wide range of services including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Acute Care, Dentistry, Optometry, Women’s Health, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, and select specialty services. We are expanding our Sunday specialty dental services and are seeking current residents and fellows in Pediatric Dentistry to provide care on select Sundays. This role offers a supportive and collaborative dental team environment with modern technology and experienced support staff. It is ideal for providers in current residency programs seeking supplemental clinical hours, flexibility, and the chance to make a significant impact in an underserved community. Requirements

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Current New York State Dental License
  • DEA registration (if applicable)
  • Must be in good standing and have approval, if required, from their residency or fellowship program to participate in outside clinical practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a community health center or public health setting
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Experience with Dexis digital radiography
  • Bilingual skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive preventive and restorative dental care for pediatric patients
  • Perform examinations, treatment planning, and patient education
  • Deliver behavior management and compassionate care to children and families
  • Diagnose and treat oral health conditions in pediatric populations
  • Collaborate with dental and medical teams to ensure coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provider meetings
  • Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in accordance with organizational standards
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative support staff
