About The Position

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is seeking a per diem Pediatric Dentist to join their group and provide dental services to the community. This role involves supervising pediatric dental residents during clinic, in the operating room, and during conscious sedation procedures. Participation is required for resident didactic lectures, clinical care, and evaluations. The individual will actively participate in the development and implementation of goals for the Pediatric Dental Residency Program and engage in the development and fostering of resident research activities. There are advancement opportunities to Associate Program Director and Program Director positions for individuals exhibiting leadership qualities and skills.

Requirements

• Degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) from a CODA accredited dental school
• Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
• Able to obtain dental license to practice dentistry in the State of Pennsylvania
• Able to obtain dental anesthesia permit – restricted I (oral conscious sedation) in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Proven hands-on medical-dental management experience.
