About The Position

Requirements

Exceptional customer service skills.
Experience answering telephones.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a dental, medical, or other health-care office.
Knowledge of HMO/PPO insurance plans.
Willingness to learn and interest in getting started in the dental field.

Responsibilities

Acknowledge, smile, and greet patients upon arrival and dismissal.
Respond to patient questions and concerns according to DCA policies.
Answer telephones.
Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment book.
Confirm appointments and follow up on no-shows and cancellations.
Register patients on the sign-in sheet.
Post charges and payments to patient accounts.
Check voicemail daily.
Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients.
Support staff and patients and handle requests or projects assigned by other staff members or the Office Manager.
Assist with completion of patient treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements.
