About The Position

The Pediatric Complex Care Coordinator is a Registered Nurse responsible for coordinating comprehensive, family-centered care for medically complex and chronically ill pediatric patients. Ensures timely follow-up, care plan development, provider collaboration, and connection to specialty services across the continuum of care. Responsibilities include coordinating newborn screening follow-up processes, supporting diagnostic pathways, facilitating multidisciplinary communication, and improving care quality in accordance with Parkview Health values of Trust, Quality, Flexibility, Teamwork, and Stewardship.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse license through the Indiana State Board of Nursing or reciprocal licensure.
  • Diploma in Nursing or an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
  • Strong background in pediatric nursing.
  • Additional training in assessing and planning the biophysical and psychosocial needs of the child and parents.
  • Readily and capable of communicating with parents, as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Additional certifications may be required depending on patient population needs (e.g., PALS).
  • Experience with medically complex pediatric populations, care coordination, case management, or specialty program coordination.
