About The Position

LifeScape is seeking a compassionate and qualified candidate to join our collaborative, interdisciplinary team as a full-time, part-time, or unscheduled part-time (PRN) Clinical Psychologist at our outpatient Autism and Child Development Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This role focuses on integrating psychological services within a collaborative pediatric care team that includes physicians, dietitians, social workers, occupational and physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, data analysts, and nursing staff. The psychologist plays a key role in supporting children and families through LifeScape’s multidisciplinary clinics—such as inpatient rehabilitation, Feeding Clinic, and Constipation Management Clinic—by addressing the emotional, behavioral, and cognitive challenges that often accompany complex medical conditions. In addition to direct patient care, the psychologist contributes to treatment planning, family education, and coordination of services to promote holistic, child-centered care across clinical and outpatient settings. We offer many flexible options for hours, with opportunities for 30-40 hours/week for full-time. Part-time and PRN hours are also available. Requirements

PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or related degree.
South Dakota Psychology Licensure or eligible for licensure.
All positions require a clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of three years of experience in pediatrics is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide behavioral health support tailored to pediatric patients with underlying medical diagnoses
Develop and implement innovative care models to address behavioral health needs in children
Lead and participate in patient and family education through individual sessions and treatment sessions
Support discharge planning, especially for school reintegration and community transitions
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings focused on pediatric care
Deliver and coordinate outpatient psychological services for children and their families
