About The Position

Coordinates case management activities for pediatric members to evaluate medical needs and facilitate their overall wellness. Develops strategies to address issues, achieve outcomes, and enhance members’ overall wellness through integration. Instructs programs and procedures in compliance with network management and clinical coverage policies. The role requires residence in Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, or Plaquemines Parish in Louisiana, travel within 125 miles round trip for one day in the field, and a variable work schedule that includes working until 9 p.m. local time two days per week.

Requirements

Current, active RN clinical licensure.
Case management experience.
Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and telephonic skills.
Excellent motivational interviewing skills and ability to build rapport and trust telephonically.
Excellent documentation skills and respect for compliance and regulatory standards.
Highly organized and self-driven without direct supervision.
Ability to manage time effectively and achieve performance metrics.
Technology proficiency.
Ability to travel within 125 miles round trip for one day in the field.
Ability to work a variable schedule, including until 9 p.m. local time two days per week.
Pediatric experience.
Must reside in Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, or Plaquemines Parish in Louisiana.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree.
CCM certification.
Previous experience in a managed care organization.
