About The Position

NCA is seeking a Nurse Case Manager based in Des Moines. The role provides case management services addressing the special needs, care, and quality-of-life challenges of clients requiring eldercare or other specialized support. The nurse collaborates with primary family caregivers, attorneys, financial planners, and trustees who are also serving the client. This is a salaried position with a flexible work-from-home schedule and regional overnight travel one to two times per month, as well as occasional nationwide travel.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
Experience with third-party benefits, including health insurance, Medicaid, Social Security, and Developmental Disability services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with MacOS and related software applications, including MS Office.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools in a Mac environment.
Self-motivation and comfort working in a virtual company or office, with strong time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate to accomplish goals and work through conflicts.
Excellent customer service skills.
Willingness to meet timely documentation requirements.
Willingness to travel overnight regionally one to two times per month and occasionally nationwide.

Nice To Haves

CCM or CRRN certification.
Experience in field case management or workers’ compensation case management.

Responsibilities
