About The Position

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Cardiologist to join their established and highly collaborative pediatric cardiology team serving patients throughout the greater Atlanta region. This is an opportunity to join a respected regional program with a strong referral base, excellent clinical support, and a balanced practice model focused primarily on outpatient care. The successful candidate will join a team of three pediatric cardiologists providing comprehensive cardiovascular care for fetal patients, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults across multiple clinic locations and Wellstar hospitals. The position offers a primarily outpatient, clinic-based practice with a four-and-a-half-day work week and dedicated administrative time. It involves collaboration with pediatric specialists, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, neonatologists, emergency physicians, and pediatric hospital teams, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance due to the primarily outpatient practice model and limited inpatient responsibilities. Telemedicine capabilities are available for consultative follow-up and family education. The call schedule is well-supported with sonographer support for urgent weekend echocardiograms. There are opportunities for teaching and research participation through collaboration with the Medical College of Georgia, though these are not required.
