Pediatric Cardiologist/Imaging Physician
About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Health McLane's Children's Medical Center is seeking an experienced pediatric cardiologist with additional training in imaging (CT/MRI/Transesophageal echo) to join their team in Central Texas. This role will support the development of a robust pediatric cardiac surgical program and contribute to the growth of the heart center. The position involves providing comprehensive pediatric cardiac care, including fetal, neonatal, and preventive cardiology. The successful candidate will also teach medical students, residents, sonographers, and nurses, and perform/interpret various cardiac studies across multiple hospitals.
Requirements
- Full-time BC/BE fellowship trained Pediatric Cardiologist
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
Nice To Haves
- Additional training in Imaging (CT/MRI/Transesophageal echo)
- Strong experience in the management of cardiac postoperative patients, ICU/inpatient cardiology, and electrophysiology
Responsibilities
- Teach medical students, residents, sonographers and nurses
- Perform, supervise and interpret electrocardiograms, Holters and trans-thoracic echocardiograms in approximately 7 hospitals located in and around central Texas area
