About The Position

As a Pedestrian Emergency Distress (P.E.D.S) you revolve around answering customers calls and dispatching help. Customers who need assistance will call into P.E.D.S to get help. P.E.D.S are responsible for maintaining the highest standard of customer service in every interaction. Most times P.E.D.S is the only time a customer interacts with us. We always want to start and end on a good note. It’s our responsibility to do so because many travelers have a hard time traveling and appreciate an easy stress-free parking experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service based role or something similar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items (50 lbs).

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls from onsite customers who need immediate assistance.
  • Dispatch personnel to customers in need of assistance.
  • Answer general questions about parking or making a reservation.
  • Guide customers through making a reservation.
  • Assist customers in finding our parking lots.
  • Answer calls from employees.
  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding established performance.
  • Ensure that guests receive exceptional service and address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Be the first line of defense when a call is received while minimizing wait times during peak times.
  • Regularly update upper management on operational challenges.
  • You will have to reach out to a Manager or Supervisor to get assistance
  • Foster clear and open communication within the team.
  • Report any issues or malfunctions with parking equipment in a timely manner.
  • Promote teamwork, inclusion, and respect among all staff.
  • Lead by example and collaborate with the team to come up with the best solution possible.
