2027 PDS&T Cell Line Development Co-Op (June - Dec)

AbbVie•Worcester, MA
•Onsite

About The Position

The Product Development Science & Technology (PDS&T) Co-Op program offers students meaningful, business-driven projects with an impact on AbbVie’s business and patients. This co-op provides work experience and is not intended to support a thesis. The position is in the Bioprocess Development & Launch department at AbbVie’s Worcester, Massachusetts location and requires a six-month commitment from June through December 2027. The Cell Line Development group generates and characterizes stable monoclonal cell lines using manual and automated processes. Using cell engineering techniques, molecular biology tools, and automation instrumentation, the group engineers transgenic expression vectors, evaluates cell line performance, and conducts genetic characterization to support selection of cell lines for manufacturing. The co-op will contribute to these activities and to the operation of the Cell Line Development laboratories.
