About The Position

Tempur Sealy is seeking a PDC Warehouse Specialist to support production in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. The role helps meet monthly, weekly, and daily production goals by moving, sorting, verifying, and supplying materials; packing and labeling finished goods; maintaining a clean work area; and conducting quality inspections throughout the process. Depending on the position selected, duties may include operating production or material-handling equipment. Available positions will be discussed during the interview process. The schedule is Monday through Friday on the day shift, with overtime and occasional Saturdays required. Pay is $19.10 per hour.

Requirements

Be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Be able to work in standing and sitting positions for a minimum of 8 hours or more per shift.
Be able to drive a forklift.
Be able to frequently walk, squat, turn, twist, push, and bend in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
Have excellent attendance and be reliable and punctual.
Be willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
Be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Work in a fast-paced team environment to meet monthly, weekly, and daily production goals.
Move materials and components between floors, pallets, conveyors, and tables as needed.
Operate equipment such as sewing machines, hot glue guns, and pallet jacks as applicable to the position.
Sort and verify production materials and supply them to appropriate stations or staging areas to meet the production schedule.
Collaborate with a team to achieve organizational goals.
Correctly label and pack finished goods as required.
Maintain a clean work area and environment.
Perform quality inspections throughout the process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
