About The Position
The PCT ED assists Registered Nurses with all aspects of direct and indirect patient care. The role supports patient wellbeing and helps patients with activities of daily living. Care must adhere to hospital policies and accreditation standards.
Requirements
- BLS certification upon hire.
- Current North Carolina CNA II certification, EMT-I certification, or EMT-P certification.
- NCI certification within 90 days of hire.
- Patient safety companion course within two weeks of hire.
- Yearly CBL certification.
- No experience required.
Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Nurses in providing direct and indirect patient care.
- Help ensure patients’ wellbeing.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Provide care in accordance with hospital policies and accreditation standards.
