About The Position

Home Health Services of Virginia is seeking a dedicated PCA/CNA to provide compassionate, professional care to clients in their homes at the Mechanicsville, Virginia location. The role supports clients’ independence and quality of life by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health, providing companionship, and ensuring safe, comfortable care visits. The assigned shift is Monday, Wednesday, Tuesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (MWTF).

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and reliably during the assigned shift.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor clients’ health status and report changes to nursing staff or a supervisor.
• Provide companionship and support to promote clients’ mental and emotional well-being.
• Ensure clients’ safety and comfort during care visits.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and standards of care.
