About The Position

Active Homecare is hiring experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for immediate opportunities providing in-home support. The role helps clients remain safely at home with their families and may help avoid unnecessary hospitalization. Assignments are matched to the teammate’s geographic location, with flexible schedules and multiple shifts available, including full-time, part-time, and per-diem work.

CNAs provide companionship and help clients with daily activities and other needs. Duties may include monitoring and documenting a client’s condition, maintaining safety, housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, transportation to appointments, and errands or shopping. The role involves physical activity, including lifting at least 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CNA license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• For CNAs responsible for running client errands: valid driver’s license and proof of active insurance and vehicle registration.
• Reliable transportation to get to work on time and run client errands when needed.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, turn, pivot, transfer, and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Successful background check, motor vehicle report, drug testing, and any other state-specific requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant; the posting seeks experienced CNAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, caring companionship.
