About The Position

Certified Nursing Assistants provide companionship and in-home support to clients with daily activities and personal care. The role includes monitoring client condition and safety, assisting with household tasks and meals, and providing transportation or errands as needed. It is a physical job requiring the ability to perform movements such as pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, turning, pivoting, transferring, and lifting at least 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CNA license.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time and run client errands when needed.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, turn, pivot, transfer, and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Successful results of a background check, motor vehicle report, drug testing, and any other state-specific requirements.
• For CNAs responsible for running client errands: valid driver's license and proof of active insurance and vehicle registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, caring companionship.
• Help clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and document the client's condition and ensure the client's safety.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry services.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks.
• Escort clients to and from appointments as needed.
• Run errands and shop for food and personal items as needed.
