About The Position

This is responsible administrative support work in the Payroll Department for an employing jurisdiction.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, and a minimum of three years responsible clerical experience in payroll administration and related activities; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
  • Must meet the established medical and physical standards for the class of work.
  • Appointees must bear the cost of the medical examination.
